Classroom:Carrying a 3.75 GPA with a major in biology and a minor in coaching, Manis represented UCF on the Conference USA All-Academic Team in 2006, and was a member of the C-USA Commisioner's Honor Roll from 2005-06.
Character:A leader of the UCF women's soccer team, Manis has served as a role model for all the newcomers that play for the Knights. Besides practices, she helps lead the team by participating in events such as Women in Sports Day where the team takes children from the surrounding areas and gives a free soccer clinic. Manis also guides her fellow goalkeepers by preparing them for future competition when her senior year comes to a close.
Competition:Manis is now in her third year at UCF after playing at Middle Tennessee State as a freshman in 2004. In all, she has 11 shutouts entering 2007, a 1.12 GAA and 171 saves. Since coming to UCF, she has a 1.17 GAA to rank sixth on the school's career list, while her 72 saves in 2006 were ninth-most all-time. Her performance in 2006 earned her second-team All-Conference USA honors and NSCAA All-Southeast Region accolades. Manis also nabbed a spot on the Soccer America Team of the Week during the year.
